An intimate session with different approach.

Organic Aesthetic: Film has a certain intangible quality that's hard to replicate

I'm diving into a topic that's close to my heart: the unique allure of film photography for weddings. While digital cameras offer convenience and instant gratification, there's something undeniably special about capturing those once-in-a-lifetime moments on film.

As a wedding photographer who's worked with both film and digital, I can tell you that the two mediums offer vastly different experiences. When I shoot on film, it slows me down. I become more intentional about each frame, carefully considering composition, light, and the emotions unfolding before me. There's a sense of anticipation as I wait for the film to be developed, not knowing exactly what treasures the roll holds.

Because each roll of film is finite, there's a preciousness to every shot.

Why film?

Film has a certain intangible quality that's hard to replicate with digital. The colors are often softer, the tones richer, and the grain adds a beautiful texture that feels like a tangible memory. Skin tones are especially flattering on film, creating a timeless, romantic look.
